Ralph Lauren 2008/09 Fall Season Ready-to-wear

There are some photos of the collection of Ralph Lauren Fall 2008/2009 Ready-to-wear.

The show is opened with some city dresses and suits in cashmere herringbone and black double face cut fitting the body. Then, the models worn the land of green border-stripe swing jackets, red-and-black buffalo plaid suits, cozy blanket coats, fitted plaid hunting jacket with a spry little mini in a buffalo check and so on. Afterwards, the models changed supple draped velvets, a deep hunter green and a garnet decorated with beads, a black tulle gown with a cutaway back, etc.

We can see that the Ready-to-wear collection of Ralph Lauren in Fall Season 2008/09 used lots of colour. The designed clothings are colourful and variable such as Ralph Lauren used orange, red, black, white, green, navy colours and so on.

Also, it is obvious to know that Ralph Lauren revised his design once again at the end of the show. The last 15 clothings used the elements of the other designs showed at the beginning. For examples, the design with red, green, light orange and navy colours was used again in the last 15 clothings. I think Ralph Lauren wanted to impress audience to recognize his design.

I think Ralph Lauren used these colour schemes:
Achromatic colour scheme e.g. black, grey

Split complementary colour scheme e.g. red, navy, green, orange, green
