Barack Obama is elected to be the president from year 2009 until year 2013 and Michelle Obama is his wife. That means Michelle Obama is the American first lady of the United States. They may influence the fashion trend. Why? It is because Obama is the first African person to be the American president. As Ralph Lauren is one of the American icons and he aims at designing clothes with American spirit, the chief designer Ralph Lauren may consider about the American issues into his designs.
As I have mentioned before, yellow or similar yellow colors e.g.Citron would be the hot colors in year 2009. Michelle Obama worn a yellow with little green dress on the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony on 21 January 2009. Afterwards, she became the fashion icon of the United States. So, I forecasted that other designers may think of Michelle Obama’s clothing to design the next year’s collections.
